CURB YOUR DISRESPECTFUL COMMENTS. These are not hunted skulls. These are SALVAGED. The coyote and fox were purchased as salvaged skulls. The mouse was found by me in my back yard. Long, long dead of natural causes.
I could have purchased far more intact hunted skulls. xD
These two skulls I purchased from someone I found through tumblr. c: they were helpful when I asked about cleaning my mouse skull, so I went to their etsy and ended up getting these two. The fox has been named Gerard and the Coyote Herald. The mouse is named Gus.
My first real skulls. I just love handling them, so fascinating.
Going to buy some coyote teeth to fix the coyote's mouth. c: He's missing a few teeth that were knocked out when he was alive. the bone has healed. so they'll be left alone.
I love skulls I want to keep the skull of all my pets ;~; that sounds so morbid and horrible but that's how I want to remember them, I want to preserve their memories with their beautiful craniums <3
.... I really should become a biology major or soemthing so I don't have to say " i just like playing with dead things" becuase it's not about "hehehehe it's dead" it's about : "oh so THAT'S how it moves" ><
I couldn't. xD Every time I'd look at them I'd think of how they used to be, and sob. aha. I plan to have my pets cremated, and have a nice little urn and pictures and remember them how they were, not what they had become.
EXACTLY. I'm afraid people with just assume I am a satanist or something lmao.
I don't know why I'd be able to be happy with them... maybe I wouldn't but I do have my baby rat that never made it, I wanted to bury her and plant a flower but I've been thinking of just ... taking her skull UGH IT SOUNDS SO HORRIBLE! I've been wanting to paint skulls too so that might be what i'd do with them is paint my love for them onto the skull so I'll always have those feelings. I guess it's kinda a spiritual thing x3
for a while there was a bird in my shed that I would fold and unfold it's wings for hours (it was in a plastic bag) avian anatomy is so interesting. I also have buck feet, I freaking love deer hooves they're so pretty o3o I promise I don't worship the devil xDDD
Each person has their way of dealing with the loss of a loved pet. xD I don't think there is any wrong way, within reason. (you know, nothing freakish like having a rotting body around...) You just have to do whatever comforts you most.
It can be so fascinating. eAe too bad birds can carry SO many diseases vgbhnjmkl.
I know :< that's why plastic baggie was my friend lol it was a pretty yellow breasted woodpecker, i forgot what the real name was though because it was a few months ago

Yep my dad loves them. That's his computer area. (we just won't tell him I put the skulls all over everything.)
